I absolutely love watching children and their passion for living life. They are a continuous source of inspiration and we can learn so much from them.

For me, I feel like my inner-child is constantly released when I go out for a ride – I get so much pleasure when I discover new places to ride, go down a hill as fast as I can with a crazy grin on my face, meet new people while slogging up a mountain, or simply appreciate the birds squabbling as the sun rises.

Because children have so much to offer us in terms of wisdom, I have collated a few lessons from them. Enjoy!

Be curious about the world

Never stop asking questions and wondering why?

Let your creativity shine

When was the lat time you did finger-painting, made a mud-pie or got dressed-up as an astronaut?

Take a nap or take some time out

Allow yourself to have powernaps, take time to meditate or have some r + r.

Be present and in the moment

No need to worry about tomorrow, it is too far away!

Do something new everyday

Variety is the spice of life

Dream Big

Have no fear of failure. If you do fall over – simply pick yourself up, dust off your pants, and continue on (allow a teary for a brief time if needed, however, life is too exciting to be caught up in this state for too long).

Make new friends

Go up and talk to someone new, reach out and get a mentor, say hello to the person next to you on the train.

Sing aloud as if no one can hear you

I highly recommend Disney soundtracks.

Eat when you are hungry, stop when you are full

Listen you what your body needs and what it is telling you.

Smile and laugh as much as you can

The ability to carry humour with you in and out of different situations is one of the best ways to enjoy life.

Until next time,

Ride safe, ride with a smile, ride in the moment,

Han
