Hannah was involved in the Sport of swimming for over 13 years and is now turning her sporting endeavours to cycling. She has represented Australia on an international level since 2001 and competed at the Swimming World Championships and Paralympic Games, as well as other numerous international, national and state competitions in both swimming and cycling.

Achievements:

2010 – 2013 Australian Para Road Cycling Championships – Two silver and four bronze medals in the time trial and road race in the Women’s C4 classification

2011 – 2013 Australian Para Track Cycling Championships – Four bronze medals in the time trial and pursuit in the Women’s C4 classification

2009 IPC World Swimming Short Course Championships – Bronze Medal in the 100m Individual Medley, Finalist in the 100m backstroke, 200m I, Women’s 4 x 100m Medley Relay.

2008 Beijing Paralympic Games – Given the honour of being one of the Team Captain’s for the Australian Swimming Team. Competed in the 100m backstroke and 200m IM.

2008 VISA Paralympic World Cup – Silver Medal in the Women’s S10 100m Backstroke

2006 IPC World Swimming Championships Team – Team Leader, Finalist in S10 Women’s 100m Backstroke

2005 & 2002 Leader Sports Star of the Year in the Stonnington District

2004 Athens Paralympic Games – Bronze Medal in the 4 x 100m Female Medley Relay

2002 – 2014 VIS Scholarship Holder

2002/03 World Record in the S10 Women’s 50m Backstroke

2001/09 Australian National Records in numerous events, age groups and categories
